Okay, I know meal planning is all the rage and girl, trust me, planning out your meals for the week is the last thing you want to do. But believe me, it's worth it. If you follow a plant-based diet, then you know that fast food no longer exists.  So, meal planning is essential to this lifestyle. There are TONS of meal planners out there, some good, others not so good. For me, I just needed a simple system that gets straight to point.

  1. PICK OUT YOUR FAVORITE MEALS

As you know Pinterest is my go-to place for all of the inspiration and my board, Good Eats is super cool with delicious meals ideas. If you're interested in what I've been cooking lately, then you can follow me there.

2. CHECK YOUR REFRIGERATOR!

I can't tell you how many times I've picked my meals out and went to the store without doing inventory on what I already had at home. Yup,  not check  is such a huge NO, NO. You always need up either buying a duplicate item, or you don't get the item at all. Such a waste of time and gas. 

3. WRITE IT DOWN

I know, come on, like duh if your meal planning you're going to write it down. This is another common mistake that I see a lot.  You've checked the fridge, and pick out the meals that you want to eat dinner the week, but you didn't write it down. I'm currently laughing out loud because I've done all of this smh. Writing it down is a huge reason why I created this simple meal planner.

4. GRAB YOUR CONTAINERS

A couple of years back switched from plastics containers to glass ones, and these are my favorite ones. Once you have your containers ready, set them out a day ahead of time to avoid the temptation of not prepping. 

5. USE THE MEAL PLANNER

This step is the most straightforward step out of them all. USE THE PLANNER, GIRL!. This  meal planner is such a great tool to help you get a head start on your fitness goals, or just whatever food goals you have for yourself.
