One of my goals for this new year was to create habits. As I was thinking of this goal and how to was going to develop an action plan for it, I thought about all of the unhealthy habits that I have formed over the past year and how I want to change them. For me, unearthing routines one at a time works the best. This year I tried to declare that these unhealthy habits as known and then work to make this healthy. The first step is to identity exactly what these habits are.

Here are some everyday unhealthy habits:

  • Eating too much process foods

  • Too much phone time

  • No workout routine

  • Negative self-talk

  • Letting stress consume you

The list goes on and on, but I’ll stop at these five everyday habits. For the next five weeks, we’ll be tackling this list by calling out what might have caused this behavior and the steps that we are going to take to make them healthy habits. This seems like a daunting task, but trust me, my friends, it’s doable. If you have already done this process, how did you go about it?
