If you don'ts set weekly goals, today I am going to break down three reasons why setting weekly goals sets you up for success.
1. GIVES YOU A NARROW EYE VIEW
At times, when we set monthly goals, they tend to be more broad and significant. I suggest taking your monthly aim making it smaller, this way, it's more actionable.
2. MORE ACCOUNTABILITY
When you look over your list of monthly, weekly, and daily goals the weekly and daily hold more urgency. That's because you have to complete them before the week is over, while with monthly goals you can push off until the end of the month. Setting weekly goals pushes you towards success.
3. BREAKS DOWN LARGER GOALS
I mentioned before that monthly goals are typically larger goals. Larger goals are harder to make actionable since they are so broad, this where weekly goal setting steps in. Take your general goals and break them down in action item form on your weekly list.
This list is short, and you can do your personal goal setting that works for you. If you have a different way of goal setting, let us know in the comments!
