The new year is approaching, and honey I am getting ready to tackle this next 12 months something serious. But before I do that I need to take care of some personal business, and that is detrimental self-talk. I know that we all self- talk, some more than others lol I am one of those throughout the day, I'm consistently talking myself up, or talking myself out of doing something I really want to do.
With all that said I have put together 4 mantras that I'll be repeating to myself all year long.
1. STOP DOUBTING MYSELF
This is the most common area that tons of people struggle, DOUBT.
Doubt creeps in out of nowhere, actually, right when you're pushing forward here it comes with its raggedy self lol! Always trying to mess things up, not this year, I promise y'all that.
2. STAY FOCUS
My mind is typically moving a mile a minute, this makes it increasingly hard for me to focus. Repeating "stay focus," or even writing it down really helps me keep all of my goals in mind.
3. LIVE WITH INTENTION
Living with intention appears different for everyone, but for me, it looks like living with a mission in mind.
4. SET MY MIND & KEEP IT SET
This one is kind of like the first two all wrapped up in one, staying focused and not doubting myself. Now, of course, I'm going to give myself tons of lead way. I'm not perfect, and these mantras aren't magic. This year I just wanna practice more positive self-talk.
